Lemon drizzle cake

To make this cake you will need:
4 ounces/120 grams of soft, unsalted butter
6 ounces/170 grams of self raising flour
6 ounces/170 grams of sugar
One teaspoon of baking powder
Two large eggs
6 tablespoons of milk
The rind from one large lemon

To make the lemon syrup for the cake you will need:
Juice from one large lemon
4 ounces/120 grams of sugar
100ml of water
