I currently present a show on Siren FM called Food for Thought. It is about all things food and features interviews with local restaurants. I present, produce and create all the content for the show myself, as well as creating short bake along videos to get people to join in with the show.

Previously I worked on news bulletins for Siren FM coming up with original news stories, writing copy and editing audio. Eventually I became a day editor where I had to teach others about the news values of Siren FM and any technical skills the volunteers needed.
I was one of the main presenters and organisers of The Linc Weekly, a weekly podcast rounding-up news, culture and other stories that The Linc had covered throughout the week. I was in charge of coming up with a running order, writing cues and making sure that all audio worked before recording that week’s episode.
In 2011 I was the executive producer on The Linc’s live Students’ Union elections broadcast, a live audio stream of the night with premade video packages and using social media to interact with the audience.
In 2010 I was the location producer on The Linc’s live Students’ Union elections broadcast, a radio broadcast of the night’s event with a number of radio packages of interviews with relevant people that I had recorded and edited before the night.
I have done two work experience placements with BBC Lincolnshire where I helped to answer the phones, come up with guests and do vox pops on local issues. I have also had a work experience placement at Lincs FM where I helped with interviews, researched stories and helped with editing audio.
